In four hours…
I’m going to wake up. I’m going to play soccer.
Same Chicago Fire shorts as before, same Nike’s as before with the electrical tape sealing the toe on my kicking foot. I like the fit because they are fit for my feet in particular. I made them fit that way.
I have a new breathing technique for goal kicks. Goal: Ten yard landing point past midfield. I’m confident I can do this consistently.
I’m going to have coffee after, as always. A medium, Starbucks hates when I call it that. Please give me a bottled water as well.

I’m going to listen to Randy Travis and think of simple things.
I’m going to let the people go who don’t know what it means to mean anything.
I’m going to walk everywhere, because that’s what I like to do.
